This is our Best In Vancouver 2023 Finalist Spotlight series where we ask this year’s Finalists a few questions just ahead of the Finals happening Saturday November 25th at The Fox Cabaret. Here are a few questions we asked Luvinya:

1. How has your experience been so far with this year's Best In Vancouver? Any highlights or favourite moments?

My experience in this year's Best In Vancouver has been surreal so far. I still can't fathom that we made it into the finals, we are over the moon with excitement! Some favourite moments thus far include: arranging our performance and setlist for the semi-finals show, interacting with the crowd and band members during our semi-finals show, and the moment I found out we made it into the finals.

2. What would you look most forward to if you win this year's Best In Vancouver?

So hard to pick one thing! All the prizes will allow for greater career and personal development, which really excites me.

3. What are your 2024 music plans?

Music, music, and more music! I am planning on releasing a few singles and collaborations. If time and resources allow it, I am hoping to release a bigger project such as an EP or album. I am also hoping to get into the Music Therapy program in 2024 at Capilano University, to pursue my dreams of becoming a Music Therapist.

Come support Luvinya and the other Finalists on Saturday November 25th at The Fox Cabaret, you can purchase tickets here.
