This is our Best In Vancouver 2023 Finalist Spotlight series where we ask this year’s Finalists a few questions just ahead of the Finals happening Saturday November 25th at The Fox Cabaret. Here are a few questions we asked The Swill Merchants:
1. How has your experience been so far with this year's Best In Vancouver? Any highlights or favourite moments?
We have had an absolute blast being invited to play and perform at this year's Best in Vancouver. The highlight has been performing for new crowds and meeting all the musicians in the other bands. It was also pretty special when someone at the bar proposed to their girlfriend during our set! She said yes!
2. What would you look most forward to if you win this year's Best In Vancouver?
If we win this years Best in Vancouver, we are most looking forward to instant fame, attending the Grammy’s, gaining hundreds of fair-weather friends, a fast decline into drug addiction and poverty, and a slow decline into obscurity.
3. What are your 2024 plans for the band?
Keep on rocking in the free world, mother humpers!
